    Preheat oven to 425°F.

    Butter an 8x8 inch baking pan.

    Mix the blackberries, flour, 1 3/4 cups sugar, salt, cinnamon, and lemon juice.

    Pour the fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish and dot with butter.

    Prepare the topping by mixing the Bisquick, 2 Tbsp sugar, and milk or water.

    Pour the biscuit topping over the fruit mixture.

    Sprinkle the top with 1 1/2 tsp sugar.
