    Make the pudding as directed on the package.

    Stir in about 1/3 cup of coconut flakes when done.

    Chill several hours in refrigerator until thoroughly set and cold.

    In serving glasses, layer pudding, vanilla wafers (along the sides), and icing.

    Top with icing and sprinkle reserved coconut flakes over the top.

💡 Cook's Notes

The moisture of the pudding absorbs into the vanilla wafers, turning them into cake-like portions of the trifle. A great dessert for entertaining.
