Place bacon strips in a skillet with just enough water to cover.

Place over high heat and bring to a boil.

When water starts boiling, lower heat to medium.

Continue cooking until all water has simmered away.

Turn heat to medium-low.

Continue cooking until bacon is crisp and well browned.
💡 Cook's Notes
The bacon should be pleasantly crisp, but not actually brittle, with full rendering of the fat.
