    Puree the onions, garlic, bell pepper, and cucumbers in a food processor.

    Add the vinegar, 1/4 cup lime juice, and bread (for body). Process thoroughly.

    Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato juice. Process until smooth.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Add remaining lime juice to taste.

    Serve hot or chilled with garnishes added at the last minute for crunch.
