💡 Cook's Notes

**South Beach Cosmo:** 3 parts vodka, 1 part cranberry juice cocktail, 1 part Chambord Raspberry Liqueur **Cosmo-Bianco:** Use white cranberry juice cocktail instead of red **French Cosmo (award-winning):** 3 oz Grey Goose L'Orange vodka, ½ oz Cointreau, dash of cranberry juice, squeeze of lime; garnish with peel **Simple Version:** 3 parts Citron vodka, 1 part Grand Marnier, a wedge of lime, and enough cranberry cocktail juice to turn it pinkish **Classic Proportions:** 2 parts Citron vodka, 1 part each of Cointreau, lime juice, and cranberry juice **Stronger Version:** 3 parts Citron vodka, 2 parts each of Cointreau or Grand Marnier, 2 parts cranberry cocktail juice, and a splash of lime juice **Alternative Recipe:** 35ml vodka, 15ml Cointreau or Triple Sec, 15ml fresh lime juice, 25ml cranberry juice. Ice/shake/strain through fine sieve. Add heated orange zest oil. Should look pink. Many cosmo recipes call for 1 part vodka and only a half-part of all other ingredients for a stronger alcohol drink Vodka options: Stolichnaya Citros or Grey Goose L'Orange (when using L'Orange, use Rose's Lime Juice or it won't taste sufficiently limey) For a more icy drink, see the Frosted Cosmopolitan recipe <!-- TODO: LINK TO 'frosted cosmopolitan' --> The lime juice quantity will vary depending on the quality of limes and sets the standard for a single "part" in the recipe
