    Start cooking the linguini according to package directions.

    Sauté mushrooms in olive oil until almost done.

    Add green onion, artichoke hearts, and tomatoes to the mushrooms. Set aside.

    In a small saucepan, melt the margarine over medium heat.

    Stir in the half and half and Parmesan cheese.

    Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth.

    Add the cheese sauce to the sautéed vegetables.

    Add the chopped avocado.

    Return to burner and bring sauce to a boil.
