Remove stems from strawberries. Rinse well and drain. Pat dry with paper towels.

Place berries in a bowl. Add 1/3 cup sugar and liqueur.

Using a vegetable peeler, cut a shallow spiral of orange skin (avoiding the white pith) to remove the orange's surface. Slice peel into wafer-thin shreds.

Add orange zest shreds to berries, folding together gently.

Cover the bowl and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Just before serving, whip the cream with 2 Tbsp sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until soft peaks form.

Serve strawberries topped with the spiced whipped cream.
