    Melt butter and blend in flour to make a roux.

    Add crab meat, milk, onion juice, Worcestershire sauce, mace, salt, and pepper.

    Cook slowly over hot water for 20 minutes.

    Heat the sherry and put 1/2 tsp in each warm soup bowl.

    Ladle hot soup into bowls and top each with a dollop of whipped cream.
