    Put onions, one can of tomato sauce, and jalapenos in a blender and mix well. Set aside.

    Brown meat in a large pot using no added fat.

    When meat has lost all pink color, add the tomato mixture and beer, stirring thoroughly.

    Blend in remaining can of tomato sauce and all seasonings.

    Add enough water to create a thick soupy consistency.

    Cover and let simmer 2 1/2 hours, stirring frequently to prevent bottom burn.
