    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Combine hamburger, egg, cracker crumbs, onions, 1/3 cup tomato sauce, salt, oregano, and pepper in a large bowl, using a potato masher to mix well.

    Roll mixture into a ball, then flatten into a 10 x 12" rectangle on wax paper.

    Spread grated cheese on top and roll it up into a log. Seal the ends.

    Bake for 1 hour. Remove and drain the fat.

    Brush with remaining 2/3 cup tomato sauce.

  7. 7

    Bake for another 15-20 minutes.
