    Mix together the rub ingredients: smoked paprika, brown sugar, kosher salt, pressed garlic, pepper, and thyme.

    Trim the pork loin and rub generously with the spice rub.

    Truss the roast with kitchen string at 1.5 inch intervals.

    Place in a 13x9 inch baking dish and refrigerate uncovered for 24 hours.

    Prepare the grill by lighting one side only (indirect heat setup). Heat to 350-400°F.

    Sear the pork loin over the hot side for 8 minutes per side until browned.

    Move the roast to the cooler side of the grill, cover, and cook for 35 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F.

    Remove from grill and let stand for 10 minutes.

    Brush with BBQ sauce and sprinkle 2 tsp fresh thyme on top as garnish.

    Serve on a bed of fresh greens such as rosemary.
