    Make the sofrito:

    Heat a large skillet over high heat until hot.

    Add the remaining 3 Tbsp olive oil and slivered garlic to the pan.

    Cook for 10 seconds.

    Add the shrimp and toss over high heat.

    Once shrimp begin to turn pink, add the reserved tomato mixture and white wine.

    Cook for 1-2 minutes longer.

    Serve hot with toothpicks.
