Prepare the sauce by combining soy sauce, sugar, sake, and water.

Heat a sukiyaki pan or large skillet. Traditionally, beef suet is used to oil the bottom of the cooking pan.

Arrange ingredients in the pan, keeping the Shirataki noodles away from the beef (they make beef tough).

Pour sauce over the ingredients and cook as with any sukiyaki dish, cooking food in the sauce.
