    Clean and spin-dry the greens.

    Break leaf lettuce into bite-size pieces by hand.

    Rinse blueberries.

    Prepare artichoke hearts and hearts of palm by slicing as desired.

    Toast walnut halves in a toaster oven until warm and aromatic.

    Shortly before serving, combine all ingredients and toss with dressing.

💡 Cook's Notes

**Optional addition:** Add 1 package of tuna packed in safflower oil, broken into pieces and mixed into the salad or sprinkled across the top. With tuna, this makes a great salad for a light dinner—just add a glass of brightly flavored white wine. Blueberries are the master "touch of difference" here. They provide a beautiful complement to the other tart flavors in this salad.
