💡 Cook's Notes
See "Quiche Lorraine" recipe as possibly better alternative to this version. Optional custard additions: cinnamon, lemon thyme, other herbs, Greek seasoning. Remember to sauté vegetables and meats before adding to remove excess moisture, which prevents a soggy crust. Coins can be added atop the in-shell custard for effect (decorative tradition).
